چکیده
Abstract The paper presents results concerning thermal decomposition of copper II salts (acetylacetonate, acetate monohydrate and nitrate trihydrate) in synthetic air argon flow. Thermogravimetry tests coupled with mass spectrometry were performed temperature range 25–1300 °C. influence salt addition on the rheological properties sintering behaviour ceramic samples was then investigated. microstructure evolution based light scanning electron microscopies stereological methods described. investigations revealed not only differences examined but also phenomena related to oxidation reduction processes products. atmosphere has influenced mechanisms as well further changes Moreover, presence ZnO powder changed process acetylacetonate. showed that acetates nitrates can be efficient homogeneous distribution small amounts metal additives ZnO-based suspensions. Higher concentrations these type lead increase viscosity due fact ionic strength slurry. On other hand, acetylacetonates do disturb stability slurries. However, they are characterized by low water solubility thus homogenous amount dopants is more difficult. increased grain size sintered samples. segregated at boundaries form oxide, it diffused into matrix.

Mechanistic and Kinetic Analysis of Na2SO4-Modified Laterite Decomposition by Thermogravimetry Coupled with Mass Spectrometry
Nickel laterites cannot be effectively used in physical methods because of their poor crystallinity and fine grain size. Na2SO4 is the most efficient additive for grade enrichment and Ni recovery. However, how Na2SO4 affects the selective reduction of laterite ores has not been clearly investigated. This study investigated the decomposition of laterite with and without the addition of Na2SO4 in...
متن کاملHydrolyzing metal salts as coagulants*
Aluminium and ferric salts are widely used as coagulants in water and wastewater treatment. They are effective in removing a broad range of impurities from water, including colloidal particles and dissolved organic substances. Their mode of action is broadly understood in terms of essentially two mechanisms: charge neutralization of negatively charged colloids by cationic hydrolysis products an...
متن کاملIdentification of ultradilute dopants in ceramics.
The properties of ceramic materials are strongly influenced by the presence of ultradilute impurities (dopants). Near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) measurements using third-generation synchotron sources can be used to identify ultradilute dopants, provided that a good theoretical tool is available to interpret the spectra. Here, we use NEXAFS analysis and first-principles calcul...
